If you’re dissatisfied with your life in any area, be it health, wealth, happiness or personal relationships, ‘The Health and Happiness Coach’ Mark Wilkinson believes he has the tools for you to remix your life and make a change in just five days!
Mark decided to remix his life when his hedonistic lifestyle as an international DJ – including a residency at London Superclub Ministry of Sound, playing in 65 countries across the world and a UK Top 10 hit – was turned upside down at the age of 33 when he collapsed in pain and was then unable to walk for 18 months. He was diagnosed with a crippling rheumatic disease which resulted in him being in constant agony and living on painkillers. These challenges eventually led to depression, loneliness, bankruptcy and suicidal thoughts. At rock bottom, Mark had a decision to make and chose to ‘remix his life’ after discovering the 2006 film ‘The Secret’ by Rhonda Byrne which opened his mind to new ways of thinking, feeling and being. He began to study philosophy and personal development with Bob Proctor and Tony Robbins to detoxify and cure his body, eventually completing four marathons and living pain-free.
It is through this positive action that Mark rebuilt his life and career and now helps others overcome challenges of this kind. Here is his five day strategy to remix your life:
DAY ONE – TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR OWN DESTINY
If you’re currently stuck and feeling as though you’re not reaching your full potential in life, open your mind and take control. First of all give up toxic thinking, toxic habits and any toxic relationships. To start remixing your life, you need to build the right foundations. Read, study, commit. Repetition of this is mastery – the more you do the more successful you will become. Then, focus on what you’re thankful for. Gratitude is the start of inner happiness and mental balance, as what you give is what you receive. Be grateful for everything and always look for the good in what you do.
DAY TWO – FINDING YOURSELF
To harness long-lasting change, you must be willing to commit, willing to change, willing to have an open mind and willing to take action. So, it’s important to work out who you are. Finding yourself is also about setting goals and highlighting your life’s purpose, which is whatever brings you the most happiness. Your success is then down to the energy you bring to every hour and every minute of the day. You must find your purpose, and then live your life ‘on-purpose’ with no fear.
DAY THREE – FOCUS YOUR ENERGY
Next, find the strategies and the diet that works for you and your body specifically, and this will help you to become the person you’re meant to be and fuel your life moving forward. Cut out any vices that are negatively affecting your health – examples of these are alcohol, caffeine, drugs, fast food and so on – as once you are at optimum health, you can achieve optimum wealth and will be closer to finding freedom and financial success. The more positive energy you use to create money, the more positive money will be for you. Find someone who is living the way you would like to live and copy them. Set yourself goals for the next 1, 3, 5 and 10 years – the aim is to focus on what you want to achieve and remember you have to be aligned with your purpose, your vision, and your goals for these things to materialise in your life. Invest in yourself; it is the ultimate self-love.
DAY FOUR – SELF BELIEF AND HAPPINESS
As you build your foundations for success, you need to have love for yourself and then everything else in your life will begin to move into place. Love is total acceptance. It means welcoming every part of you without the fear of judgement from others. When you’re able to love yourself, you’ll be a happier and more positive person and therefore far more able to achieve your goals and live a fulfilled life.
But remember, faith and fear have a lot in common. It’s time to have faith in yourself and move out of your comfort zones to achieve your goals. Everything you desire in your life is just the other side of your greatest fear, so keep believing, studying, growing, and achieving!
DAY FIVE – CELEBRATE YOURSELF & YOUR RELATIONSHIPS
When you have true love for yourself, then you can focus on your relationships with others. The greatest relationship on every level is between two people who truly love and accept themselves first, then give that love and acceptance to each other. From there you can really celebrate your life together. Moving forward, make a list of all your successes from as far back as you can remember. This exercise will stop you focusing on your perceived ‘failures’ and acts as a learning event for you to understand the direction of your life. Make the decision to become the person you would like to be, the person you’ve always wanted to be, the person you know you can be.
